The contest is almost over!

The contest is almost over and will end at 11:59 Hawaii time December 16th. You must email your haiku’s to to enter. I see a lot of great haikus on social media but it’s impossible to see them all on the various networks. PLEASE EMAIL your haikus ASAP so you can be included in the judging. Antiwar Haiku Contest Update Week One

The first week of the contest has been a great success, over 100 peace haikus have been sent out on Twitter and social media. We will post them all here on the blog when we get closer to Dec 16th deadline. REMEMBER, you must email your submission to the email address ( to enter. We will NOT be sharing your email address with anyone, sponsors or otherwise. We did have a email problem the first day of the contest, if you have not received a email reply with a free 3 month offer to join the community please make sure you re send your entry.

You can enter as many Haikus as you like and if you prefer to send in all the poems you write closer to the deadline of December 16th at midnight that is acceptable but you might miss out on the free offer form

In addition to the top 3 prizes of .5 Bitcoin, .7 Bitcoin, and .5 Bitcoin, we are lining up some great runner up prizes from some great bitcoin brands and companies and will announce them all next Monday.

Antiwar Haiku Contest

With the war in Syria underway and the tragic attacks in Paris, now more then ever it’s time for a call to peace. is the leading news site with Anti War news, reviews and activities, but we need your voice. Over the weekend Antiwar held a successful social media campaign with the hashtag #WhyIAmAntiwar; hundreds of people wrote in with answers to this incredibly important question. Now we aim to encourage even more creativity with the #AntiwarHaiku contest. is looking for your best Pro Peace Haikus. This is your chance to inspire and show the positive side of the liberty movement. Bring your best pro peace prose to counter the constant negative news and debates we are all tired of. It’s time to send a message of peace to the world. “Peace on Earth” isn’t just a holiday card – let’s make it resonate far and wide.
