Top prizes: The top 3 prizes of 0.5, 0.7, 0.5 Bitcoin have been donated by Tim Frey of Roberts and Roberts Brokerage Inc. Tim has been a long time supporter, donor and advertiser on AntiWar.com. Along with supporting this contest, Tim is putting his money where his heart is this winter by pledging all the profit from his sales on Armistice Day, Black Friday and any sale through December 23rd with coupon code “PeaceOnEarth” to Antiwar.com.
Tim agrees with Randolph Bourne that war is the health of the state and has added that banking is its sustenance. Roberts and Roberts backs up this belief by not taking credit cards for gold and silver purchases and prefers Bitcoin over all other fiat currency payment types.
Learn more about Tim’s offer to donate to Antiwar.com on his blog and be sure to check out all the other great sponsors of peace and this contest on their own sites.
The first week of the contest has been a great success, over 100 peace haikus have been sent out on Twitter and social media. We will post them all here on the blog when we get closer to Dec 16th deadline. REMEMBER, you must email your submission to the email address (AntiwarHaiku@antiwar.com) to enter. We will NOT be sharing your email address with anyone, sponsors or otherwise. We did have a email problem the first day of the contest, if you have not received a email reply with a free 3 month offer to join the Liberty.me community please make sure you re send your entry.
You can enter as many Haikus as you like and if you prefer to send in all the poems you write closer to the deadline of December 16th at midnight that is acceptable but you might miss out on the free offer form Liberty.me.
